OmniAccess® is proud to announce the availability of our PortMAX broadband service. By using the latest wireless-technology, PortMAX achieves truly excellent levels of throughput and latency. This makes it the technology of choice for demanding environments, where good link-performance for real-time applications such as Voice-over-IP and streaming video are becoming increasingly important. With standard access-speeds of up to 8 Mbps (downstream) and 8 Mbps (upstream), the service outperforms most currently available forms of Internet access. Service reliability and security is at the industry-leading levels. All that is needed for the PortMAX service is an easily installable rugged weatherproof transceiver. The compact indoor unit connects to your onboard network via a standard Ethernet interface, and is easily integrated & shared in existing onboard LAN’s. The outdoor segment consists of a compact and very robust transceiver, which connects to a rod-shaped omni-directional antenna. The only cable required to connect the indoor–unit to the outdoor transceiver is a standard Ethernet cable. The extreme speed of your PortMAX connection will allow you to use all Internet-based services (webbrowsing, sending/receiving emails, downloading files etc.) without any restriction at very high speeds. The service is entirely “flat-fee”, so you can safely use your connection without being exposed to hidden usage-based surcharges of any kind.
The optional VoiceLINK telephony subscription will instantly offer you very cost-efficient telephony solution, including two personal “direct dial” Spanish inbound numbers.
