Superyacht Cup Palma 2010
Official Supplier for broadband Internet
Palma - As in previous years, OmniAccess will again supply the broadband Internet connection to the Superyacht Cup Palma 2010. A symmetrical link with equally high upload speeds will help the press upload their information more quickly.
The internet connection will be handled by the OmniAccess backbone in Palma. The link to the event site will be leveraged through OmniAccess PortMAX, a resilient wireless technology based on the WIMAX specification.
Onsite, OmniAccess will provide wireless access for participants and the press through various, secured Wifi networks.
Charity Ice Cream Cart for "Joves Navegants"
To support the known charity initiative "Joves Navegants des Balears", OmniAccess will have their traditional Ice Cream Cart at the event site. In cooperation with Palma-based deli ice cream makers ICEBERG, OmniAccess will distribute home-made ice cream at the event, asking for donations in return.
