OmniAccess prides itself on being at the forefront of technological development. Allow us to introduce ourselves personally:

Bertrand Hartman

OmniAccess is headed by our Dutch CEO, Bertrand Hartman. Bertrand has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universiteit Twente (The Netherlands) and has followed various postgraduate courses in technical and financial subjects, among others at the prestigious INSEAD Business School at Fontainebleau in France. Bertrand has various years of experience in the technical production management and has worked for 8 years on an expatriate basis in Argentina, where he launched OmniRed, the predecessor to OmniAccess.

Maria Rita Grima

Argentine born Maria Rita Grima, our CFO, is responsible for finance and administration of OmniAccess. Maria Rita has a doctorate degree in finance of the University of Buenos Aires and has worked in various international companies, both in and outside Argentina. These include some well known companies like Price Waterhouse, Kellogg’s and the Techint Group.

Dirk Jan Hudig

Our projects and installations are managed by Dirk Hudig. Dirk has a degree in Civil Engineering and has worked in the yachting industry, as crew, and in consulting and managing construction projects of custom builds in Holland. Following a move from Holland to Palma de Mallorca, Dirk joined OmniAccess to head up our installations and project management.

Carlos Carbajal

Carlos has joined our team as the Managing Director Yacht Services after having worked for telecommunication companies such as ONO and Telefonica/Movistar. Once he completed his technical studies in London (BSc hons. Information Technology) Carlos focused his professional career in sales management.

Toni Matamalas

After successfully finishing his studies in Telecommunicaction Engineering, he has been working for several years in Barcelona in wireless networks projects, content management systems and Innovation engineering before joining OmniAccess in 2008. Toni contributes to projects as experienced Senior Network and Systems Engineer.

Raquel Sanchez Leal

Raquel is enforcing our accounting and office staff. As a certified Pearson Testing Administrator, she also takes care of the inhouse Pearson programme as well.

Josechu Dols Porteiro

Josechu has a degree in sound engineering and is an experienced IT hardware technician since 1999, on both Macs and Windows.  He has a yachting background from the time spent working for an Audio, Video, and Informatics UK Yacht Company based in Mallorca. His role at Omniaccess includes the configuration and installation of hardware on yachts.

Sebastiaan Kemna

With a background in technology and sales Sebastiaan joins us as an Account Manager.  After having completed a BA(Hons) in European Business Systems and working in London, he worked in Scotland and Germany, before settling back in Mallorca.  Sebastiaan will be in charge of expanding our existing client base as well as managing existing accounts.

Juan Manuel Sanchez

Juanma has been working as an Open Source IT consultant and VoIP engineer for the last few years, both in the design of as well as the implementation of critical systems in large tourism companies in Mallorca. He has a strong background in systems and networks administration as he has worked in this area of expertise for the last 14 years both on his own and third party projects.

Sergio Manciles

Sergio has been working the British Telecommunications industry over the last few years and in IT security in Barcelona prior to that. His main fields of expertise are IT Networking and VoIP. He is part of our team at the Network Operations Centre where we monitor and manage our VSAT Infrastructure.

Alejandro Zurita

Alejandro has a degree in Telecommunication Engineering.  He combined his professional life with learning additional subjects about Link budget and DVB-S standards in Space and Satellite Communications master. He has focused his career in satellite communications working in Hispasat S. A last two years and he has experience in many kind of satellite environments. Thanks to this knowledge he provides the company fast and high level incidence resolution.

Isaac Jurado

Isaac is an all-purpose programmer who deals with as many levels of the software stack as he can: interfacing with hardware, operating systems, networks and web development. With a master degree in Computer Architecture, Networks and Systems and having collaborated at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center in the development of new parallel programming techniques, he is ideally positioned to help OmniAccess with our In-house VSAT and NMS applications.

Luis Arnaiz

Luis is a Telecom engineer specialized in satellite communications. He has broad experience in several satellite communication platforms and has taken part in ESA’s advance telecommunication programme during his four years stay at HISPASAT. He provides fast and precise technical support to our clients.
