Position: Tech Support
Location: Palma de Mallorca
Tasks:
- Contact with customers, troubleshooting, coordination and monitoring of the resolution with our team of engineers.
- Design, configuration and implementation of highly advanced networks for our customers. Design of backbone (usually a backbone fiber / copper redundant Cisco), an advanced WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Access control systems, VoIP (Cisco Call Manager), routing and components for various access methods Internet.
- Project-management: customer contact, shipyards and coordination with our installation team
- Development and maintenance of our internal network, including our systems (own) routing, VoIP, WiMAX and VSAT
- Travel and work “onsite” to customers around the world
Profile:
- Academic or extensive expertise in design and configuration networks
- CISCO certifications
- Pragmatic & Analytical approach to trouble shooting
- Eager to work with and learn about complex cutting edge technology
- Good communicational skills
- Basic knowledge of RF technology would be valuable
- Knowledge IP networks
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Good level of English language
- Experience with stabilized VSAT antennas would be valuable
