Broadbeam Fleet

If you are looking to use VSAT across a fleet of vessels, the most efficient way is by obtaining your own private VSAT network solution. Unlike the sub-optimal individual links the private pool of bandwidth our broadbeam fleet maximises the use of available bandwidth.

  • Data rates (CIR’s and MIR’s) can be allocated as per a clients needs
  • Any un-used bandwidth by a vessel remains in the bandwidth pool and becomes available to other vessels thanks to the dynamic bandwidth allocations system
  • Bandwidth is not shared with any third parties
 

Should you possess two or more yachts, and only utilise one of them at any given time, rather than operating a separate service or contract per vessel, resulting in wasted unused vessel bandwidth, we provide you with the ability to reallocate excess capacity. In this way we effectively increase efficiency, maximising your bandwidth, and ensure that you always get the biggest bang for your buck.

This method is ideal for cruise companies that operate several vessels, it automatically allocated unused bandwidth from cruise ship that are docked without passengers, to those cruise ships that are underway with heavy use of the on-board passenger connectivity services.
